Hi I am Angela!

I was a pastry chef in Los Angeles for 15 years. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with some of the best chefs in town. We moved to Sonoma County in 2010. My husband and I wanted to raise our children closer to nature. We created our family home in the Valley of the Moon.

I find myself drawn towards discovering the local farms and meeting the farmers who dedicate themselves to the land. I feel very lucky to live here in Sonoma County. I appreciate and am so grateful for the beautiful agricultural area in which I live. I realize that we all live in very different places. You do not have to visit these specific farms to recreate any of these desserts for your friends, families and loved ones. Anywhere that is convenient and comfortable for you to shop that is where you should go;  be that your local farm stand, a local market that carries fresh produce, or a farmer’s market in your town. Coming together, being a part of the community, and sharing food that you have loving made is what is important.

I would also like to extend an invitation to all of my readers. Please share your favorite farm and farmer with me.  I am on a journey to visit at least one farm a week for a year. I would greatly appreciate and look forward to any and all suggestions. At this time I am limiting my postings to farms in Sonoma County but in the future I would like to extend to neighboring counties.
